Past Work

Commission Stories

2010–2021

The Brother Portrait Series

Charcoal → Epoxy → Wood Burning

A single portrait recreated across three mediums over a decade — charcoal on paper, preserved in epoxy on a live-edge slab, and wood burned onto a tabletop. Each version a way of processing grief and keeping memory alive.

Commission

Father's Day Portrait

Charcoal on paper, framed

A commissioned charcoal portrait of a father reading by lamplight, created as a surprise Father's Day gift. The recipient's reaction when holding the finished piece for the first time — that's what makes custom work rewarding.

Mural Commission

Cherry Blossom Mural

Acrylic on wall

A large-scale cherry blossom mural that paid off all restitution and allowed the start of rebuilding life outside of prison. Art didn't just heal — it literally set free.

Personal Collection

Unwritten Music

Pen & ink, framed

A surreal composition of musical instruments melting into a candle — a piece with a hidden message about what kind of music you choose to play when life knocks you down. Now framed and displayed.
